So glad to see a forum like this exists.
I've provided all the details I could in the questions section and attached the two logs from Farbar Recovery Scan Tool.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

I did as instructed. The redirections are still occurring. I've attached the scan report.

Emptying the cache apparently solved the problem. Been about 4 hours and I haven't seen any redirections or pop-ups. I will reply here again after using Google Chrome for a few more hours to confirm the solution. Thanks for all the help!
