Review: Trend Micro Internet Security 2016

Product name
Review: Trend Micro Internet Security 2016
Pros
  • 1. Nice and Easy User Interface

    2. Low Ram Usage

    3. Good Web Prevention

    4. Decent Detection Rate

    5. Good Zero Day

    6. Scanning and Removal Process was Pretty Fast

    7. No Major System Slow Down
CONS
1. No Firewall
BOTTOM LINE
At the end of the day, Trend Micro is still doing a good job. The only thing I would like for them to do is add a firewall because if I am paying for an internet security, I better get a firewall. Lastly, when doing custom scans, you will not know when it is going to be done scanning because it stays stuck at 0% the whole time.

They have a firewall booster which from my experience it does a good job.
They believe such as F-Secure and Avira that the Windows Firewall is very good and they can rely on it.
But to be honest i am more satisfied that i am using Norton with it's own firewall
since it's protecting my outbound connections;)

For me the only downside is their false positives.
They have reduced this year but they need to get them down a bit more.
And personally i would like to see less processes in task manager since RAM usage is very good ( 24 MB ).
For comparison Norton has 2 processes and it's using 10 MB of RAM
