If you don't mind me asking can I know the reason why you changed to Kaspersky from ESET?
Mainly the Application Control module. I'm always around anti-exe software or modules, and I didn't like the combination of VoodooShield with antivirus, it tends to slow it down after some time. I have found Kaspersky doesn't do this as a complete suite as long as you don't pair it with more software. Just one full scan every two or three weeks to recognise all the files and lower the impact on performance makes it strong and light.

I like where you’re going with this. I too have noticed slowdowns with either ESET or GDATA when combined with VoodooShield. Thought it was just a mental thing. However, I don’t notice any slowdowns on my wife’s desktop with VoodooShield running alongside Trend Maximum Security.

1903 brought me pleasant gifts, so I'm happy to announce, after years:

New Protection Combo:

Windows Defender
: ConfigureDefender at HIGH settings
Comodo Firewall: CS settings (HIPS off, auto sandbox for unrecognised files)
Harden Windows: SysHardener

-----------------------------------------------------

My PC has never been lighter at booting, file copying, gaming, browsing. 1903 brought amazing news with Defender :)

With Defender cloud settings at high, you don't see a delay sometimes when launching a process?

When did you become part of Windows Insider? You got pre-release version this way?

Not at all. Maybe when the process hasn't been run ever. But if it's in cache anywhere, it's amazingly fast.

Yep, I became an Insider when I heard about 1903. :)
