Hi! Thanks, the scaling fixed it. Regarding the freeze, it happens as well with an external mouse... It's weird, isn't it?
It takes an actual second before and after? If that is the case it makes no sense because we have similar specs and mine opens instantly in both cases. Can i see a video of the action to see exactly what you mean?

The only thing that concerns me is that every time i run a software that requires adminsitrator priveleges, when that admin screen pops up, i can't move my mouse for a second its opening, and then i can't move my mouse for the second the software it's opening after i accepted the priveleges. As well, the screen looks really nice but some specific software will not show a nice definition. I thought it may be something driver-related, but i updated and re-installed it three times and it's not fixed. Do not know what it may be...
Its a bug in your mouse driver. Even I have it but fixed it by driver update intended for next alienware 15 r3. Luckily, I installed it and everything fixed. If your touchpad is Synaptics, download the updated ones with HID filter driver and do install over the existing ones. Alternatively, search Station-drivers.com for updated driver sorted by number of downloads.

It wouldn't do it when he is actually using an external mouse i assume. That's why i asked if an external mouse has the same issue. Though it's agood idea to go at manufacturer site and download latest drivers for everything.

Even external mouse behaves the same way because of firmware issue. Even HP shipped some firmware to alleviate this bug.
@RoboMan Can you check your Touchpad manufacturer in your laptop?
Just check your model out, it has both ELAN and Synaptics install both.
In addition to that, install BIOS and VBIOS.

Thanks both for the help. I already installed both touchpad drivers and the problem remains. I updated Bios and VBios the very first day i got the laptop.

I tried recording the problem as mentioned but when the software requires administrator privileges, the screen is all black on the video...

Record the screen from your phone. I just want to see timing to see if it makes sense based on my experience.

Great, sorry for the quality. When i transferred it from the phone to my computer it went like 240p. But i didn't bother because you still can appreciate the problem...

Hmm weird. It does this if you launch any application as administrator?

Go in settings-devices-mouse-additional mouse options-pointer options and disable enchance pointer precision.

Second test if first does work and you have the same adapter as me or something similar - do the same steps as before but on the last go to clickpad settings and select disable internal pointing device when external pointing device is attached and do the same test with an external mouse.

Did you try to change the UAC level of protection to see if it affect the issue in any way?
If i set UAC to "Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer (do not dim my desktop) then the aforementioned issue is gone.

Check which driver are you using device manager? A screenshot will be helpful.

Hmm, so issue is secure desktop. That is an issue i believe with graphic drivers. Do you use the laptop with it's screen or use an external monitor? Can you try an external monitor or tv and see if it does it?
