I would consider some of the suggestions already made and definitely consider making the move to Windows 10 before the end of July.
Thanks for sharing your config :)

OK Guys so I went to a clean install of Windows 10.

I installed AppGuard, WinAnti-Ransom, with Hitman and MWBAM for on demand scans.

Then I made 2 BU's one with AX64 TM V1, and one with macrium Reflect...

Then I installed Kaspersky AntiVirus 2016, since it seems to run very fast this year, on my PC.

If this is for a gaming computer, you really don't need an AV. If you insist on having something running in real-time apart from APPGUARD, consider a light malware prot like Zemana AntiMalware or Crystal Security. But in all honesty, APPGUARD will prevent most infections, but anyone here will recommend you at least having a few on-demand scanners just in case.

Really? I am a gamer but I think its best to have an AV. I mean downloading games everyday from steam and from whatnot (no cracks of course)

You could stay with MSSE or go to avast or something. Maybe upgrading to windows 10 is a good idea.

I take the assumption that your average infection comes in the form of you executing a file laced with malware. If you block it with an anti-executable, the threat is blocked before it even has a chance to activate (this is when an AV actually does its work). I'm NOT saying that AV's aren't worthwhile, I just think that using your brain + anti-executable is the perfect malware prot.

Edit: some AV's have good hips, but frankly, you're gambling on the fact that the integrated behavior analysis won't let a bad program pass. With an anti-executable set on the highest setting, nothing will activate.

Whose saying I don't use my brain the last time I got infected was before I even took security seriously. :p Wh Avast its protection configured properly it can do the same as VS.

Maybe, I haven't really used AVAST all that much, so. I'm not personally an AV fan. I use NVT Exe Radar Pro, it's stupidly light, nothing executes unless I allow it, and I have Crystal Security (also very light) running in real-time with a few on-demands set to the side just in case. Anyhow, I don't want to derail the OP's thread.

+1 for the upgrade and clean install of Windows 10.Look around as there are some very easy settings changes to get rid of some of the telemetry but all in all I think you will like 10 ;)
Appguard and WinAntiransom are very good programs combined with Kaspersky and the security of Windows 10 I think you have yourself a solid config!!
Kaspersky has become progressively lighter with each release especially boot times. Kaspersky 2017 is due for release around the end of July.

Off topic:
As for the AV/Security suite debate I always stick with what works for me,meaning if you have stayed infection free for any length of time why change what works for you.Of course malware is ever changing but so is the AV software.
I have always used an AV/Security suite and I have not had an infection for well over 15 years.
Personally I haven't used Avast for a very long time and was given an Avast IS license by Avast to test and I must say it is a very good program and does very well in detection.Personally I think much better than in years past.
A lot of factors go into a config so there is no right or wrong but just what works for you on your machine and what makes you comfortable.
Operator error,if you will, accounts for the majority of infections ;)

Thanks... I just don't want overkill.

My system seems a little slower with AppGuard.

Where as before on Windows 10 I had used WinAntiransom and Kaspersky IS 2016 and it was very fast.

So maybe I'll ditch the Appguard and just go with WinAntiransom and Kaspersky IS Suite 2016
