Sandboxie-Plus v1.8.0 - Pre-release
https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/v1.8.0

This build introduced a couple of major changes to sansdboxies inner mechanics, all preset access directives have been moved to template entries. Sandboxie now fully isolates the NT namespace reducing the potential attack surface. [...]

You can support the project through donations, any help will be greatly appreciated.
If you have issues with an update installation, just uninstall the previous version keeping the Sandboxie.ini and reinstall the new build.

As far as I'm aware. DavidXanatos does not monitor MalwareTips.
Maybe, post over on Wilders - Sandboxie-Plus v1.8.0

Also for improved reliability you can check the downloads on the project homepage: Downloads | Sandboxie-Plus where only known good builds are posted about a week or two after the github release.

Thanks! (y)

Even though it's a Pre-Release, I went ahead and installed it over 1.7.2 since it seems it also has some reductions in attack surface. No Smart Screen notices and Norton Power Eraser was clear so this installer must have been signed. I wanted to see if anything was happening with the addition of the gpu sandbox feature in Firefox v. 110 since some people were saying they had problems but I never had any (yet).

Keeping the gpu sandbox enabled in Firefox. Runs as well as it ever did to start with so I will continue to evaluate. Windows 10 v. 19045.2673 and Firefox v. 110.
