I'm not quite sure of exactly when I got this malware/virus, and I'm not sure if it has an exact name since none of my malware removal tools seem to have picked it up, but I know I must have gotten it anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 days ago...

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
    Run as Administrator to start the tool.
    (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Your solution didn't work. If I am correct, all you did was clear non-core browser files in your solution. The virus is still somewhere on my computer, and my proof is that I went to download a file that I have been attempting to obtain for the past week only to be redirected again. I'm still using Chrome as my main browser, but still have the others installed.
 
Well, I reinstalled my old extensions after it was wiped, but last I knew, none of them shouldn't be trusted... I can private message you the links to them if need be.
