Secunia PSI has been around for years. Its highly recommend software.

Just curious folks.... do those of you who use Secunia PSI allow it to run realtime or only on-demand ?

I've always run on demand and been satisfied with that approach...

For an experienced user manually running it suffices, for a n00b you could use real-time but I personally feel it isn't required.

I run it real-time. Guess I'm a n00b.

It's not a huge resource hog, so I've never had an issue with it being memory resident.

Question, does Secunia notify you about Adobe Flash Player (if out-dated) if the only version you have is the one from Google Chrome? (meaning it's not listed as an installed program).

Honestly I don't know but I would think it wouldn't.
