I've been repetitively trying to find a solution to this, and finally decided to head to this forum for help. I've been non-stop trying everything I can since last night to attempt to remove both the adware and secure-surf.net, to no avail.

Zemena, Malwarebytes and HitmanPro deleted quite a few issues; however secure-surf and this adware seem to be a recurring problem that come back regardless of how many times they're deleted from wherever they are.

I need help.

Hello,

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.

  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Massive thank you for your help, however I managed to fix it an hour or two after I posted the thread. I completed a fresh re-install of chrome, ran Malwarebytes again, and it seems to have disappeared for now. I'll return to the thread if it appears within the next few days.
