I want to use avast free with comodo fw.
I can set exclusion for comodo in avast free but not able to do the other way round.
Can anyone tell me how to set exclusion for avast from comodo fw so that it will be excluded from monitoring by every component of comodo fw?

What component of Comodo FW you want to exclude from monitoring Avast. You have shellcode injection exclusion under Advanced Protection Configuration > Miscellaneous Settings > Exclusions "In case you want to exclude certain applications from shellcode injection protection". Other than that, what you have left is to make sure all Avast process and services are listed in your HIPS rules as "Windows System Application" meaning freely allowed, in case you have HIPS enabled. If HIPS is disabled then the FW traffic rules and the rest it's the same just rules.

Things are more easy ;) Avast and comodo work well without nothing of special or magic! Just set CF with Cruelsister's setting and active File Shield and Web shield (mail shield optional) and you are safe.
