I tried upgrading to the new version posted by @frogboy 14.0.653 and the preactivated license will revert back to trial.

Time to uncheck autoupdate and next paycheck, Shadow Defender on the list

I read other SD GA here and after you upgrade they became trials..so , to be sure, I would not upgrade
