it should be ok to install over the top of the old one but if you have trouble
you might have to uninstall and reinstall but DOIN'T forget your key as it could ask for it again

Since it now protect the MBR maybe it conflict with UEFI & GPT. Ticket was sent just waiting the answer or fixed version.

Working fine for me and even v.518 also works fine for me on windows 8.1 with update..
