As I’m still finding accounts and resetting passwords (since they were hacked), should I try a password resetting software that like scans your PC for passwords, or no?

Bulk of passwords are already changed. Should I just stop worrying about it too?

If you have already changed the majority of your passwords and are confident that they are now secure, it may not be necessary to use a password resetting software. However, if you are concerned that there may still be compromised passwords lurking on your PC, using a password recovery software can be a helpful step to ensure all your accounts are properly secured.

Password recovery software can scan your computer for stored passwords and provide you with a list of accounts and their associated passwords. This can be useful if you have forgotten a password or suspect that a password may have been compromised. However, it's important to note that using such software comes with some risks and considerations:

1. Trustworthiness of the software: Ensure that you choose a reputable and trusted password recovery software from a reliable source. Research and read reviews to make an informed decision.

2. Security and privacy: Password recovery software requires access to your stored passwords, which means you need to trust the software to handle your sensitive information securely. Be cautious and ensure the software you choose has a good track record in terms of security and privacy.

3. Legal implications: In some jurisdictions, using password recovery software without proper authorization may be illegal. Make sure you are aware of the laws and regulations in your country or region before using such software.

4. Use as a last resort: It's generally recommended to use password recovery software as a last resort. Exhaust other options, such as using password reset features provided by the services you use, before resorting to third-party software.

Ultimately, the decision to use password recovery software depends on your specific situation and level of concern. If you have already taken significant steps to secure your accounts and are confident in the changes you have made, it may not be necessary. However, if you still have doubts or want to be thorough, using a trusted password recovery software can provide additional peace of mind.
