I always wants to keep my security configuration as simple as possible.

Though i want to add VoodooShield and Hitman pro to my security configuration.

I am using a 5 year old machine and my whole family works on this Pc, they don't like the look and feel of Windows 10 so i am currently using Windows 7.

You can replace Adblock with uBlock Origin (lighter) and Macrium for system image backup.
@ravi prakash saini, file reputation is not a big problem, using Windows 7, Smartscreen is related only to Internet Explorer.

If I may ask what are you making your backups with and do create system images as well.

I am using an older version(4 years) of Acronis true Image home.It works good for my windows 7.I also have backup4all.

Good, I was using ATI 2011 a few years ago and it works very well, just create the Acronis boot CD if you not have done that, to access the OS images in case Windows is corrupted.

hmmm... maybe you should try windows 10, mine is also 5 years old celeron b820 laptop. running well on Windows 10 32 bit, even with 2GB of RAM

Thanks for your suggestion bro but my family members don't like Windows 10.I may switch to it in near future as windows 7 extended support will end in 2020.So i will migrate to Windows 10 soon.

Sufficient preventive measures!!! can try backup programs like Macrium Reflect, ashampoo backup etc.
