South Korean memory manufacturer SK Hynix expects the global memory shortage to persist for much longer than initially predicted.

In its quarterly report, published on October 28th, the company states that demand for memory is expected to exceed production capacity until 2030.

Memory shortage won't last until 2030. It will last until bubble pops and it could happen in the next two or three years. We already see signs of it popping because stocks of AI companies started to fall.

And once it pops, it won't be nice for AI companies, including the ones that produce hardware. It will be great for us though as we'll be able to buy memory for bargain. Currently, this is all a gamble with the money that doesn't exist yet, but hope it will exist some day in the future (it won't). I really do hope Sam Altman and others end up in prison for fraud because that's what this really is.
