I am a little surprised.

I believe that I was the person first in publishing this offer in another popular forum and the moderators closed my post after a few minutes alleging that the offers was only for 30 days (and then only is a "trial" and no a "promo")

Next day I was the offer publish in several popular websites, but nobody has been able to say exactly how much duration of the offer

All of us are doing something here for the good of MT in our free time, and at least someone can do is to say thanks.

But... don't forget this is MalwareTips. So the essential goal of this forum is to alert users if some new virus come out to the wild, how to protect form it or remove it. To alert users for the some sites or software that might be rogue and deceiving users. And provide all kind of info from malware world.
So, don't mind if some users are skeptical about some new software (there are some jerks on this forum, like everywhere else :) ), site or giveaway because our goal is to share our opinions and find out is something good or malicious, are there better free alternatives, etc etc... and, of course, every software has own users :)
That's because I'm posting it but every time warns if I am not sure is that giveaway checked if I didn't already checked by myself.

It is a pretty fast DNS...but for me it hat an odd effect when i tried it today. Smart DNS refused to let me go to youtube, something about a certificate issue. Before i tried Smart DNS i could visit Youtube without a problem...with Smart DNS i could not. I switched Back to Norton ConnectSafe and immidiately i could visit Youtube again.

For now i will be staying with Norton ConnectSafe.

I found some FREE alternatives, but with some problems in some webpages:

http://www.safedns.com - filter virus, spyware, and other, have a "limited" free account but really have a lot of options for be free
http://dns.yandex.com - with or not virus filter, but sometimes very slow with my connection
https://metacert.com/ - for porn filter, FREE ONLY FOR CHURCHES (???), speed DNS, but no show the DNS's in the homepage (the information with DNS ips are here https://blog.metacert.com/free-dns-...s-establishments-to-filter-porn/#.Us7TSbT-reI )
http://hola.org - unblocked video and speed connection (really?), have plugins for some browsers

Nice software- I stopped using it tho. It just breaks...x/ But I guess it's good for the everyday user.
