im In Kuwait. we don't have access to NETFLIX,i Tried it.. its fast but for some reason, i have problem on downloading torrents..
 
This service still works well, I don't think torrents work... But many other web sites that are not listed also get unblocked. :)
 
Just wanted to give you an update that it is still free, and works, recently they ironed out some of the device compatibility bugs.

I have created an account. Can someone here tell me what is the difference between DNS service and VPN? Because here in my country youtube is blocked and I have Cyberghost VPn that i use to unlock youtube. and Now I have setup with this DNS Service. I have followed all the steps on How to Setup page at SMART DNS Website. After Setting up DNS ip with my connection I also have logged in to SMART DNS Site to Update IP address. It Says "Your account is active and Your Ip is xx.xx.xx.xxx"
I am confuse what DNS Service do? Because I tried to open every site that is blocked in my country and they are still not opening. When i use VPN they are easily accessable. Once again Thank you BORA! Waiting for your replies.

I would contact their support and ask them about the issues your are having and what country you are from, they have listed you tube as one of the websites they support, not sure what other sites you are trying to browse, they have online chat too. The end result of DNS service and VPN is very similar in that they both unblock websites and online services, DNS is better at geo-unblocking content and for streaming services such as Netflix, hulu, Pandora, tv shows etc... because they are much faster as streaming data does not get encrypted and routed through VPN servers... VPN is better for keeping anonymity while browsing, but slower due to encryption, at least that is what I understood...
 
Thanks Jakal, I think i now have a idea of what is the main difference between DNS and VPN.

As far as I know it has been free for 2 - 3 months at least, probably much longer if you read their testimonials page. On their Facebook or twitter page they mention that they do not know for how much longer it will be free. I am pretty sure it will not be free forever.
