Never knew that SpeedFan was for advanced users. I think I have used it before somewhere though.

Here is why this should be considered a tool for Advanced users :


I've used SpeedFan in the past,while I was suspecting that I had some cooling problems but it turned out it was due to another cause so I've stopped using it....It's a good tool if you know what you are doing.Never tried Core Temp... is this one : http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ ?
