RE: Stonecold Security Setup

Well that configuration is fine.

Since ESET Smart Security does have everything, you may test their HIPS too.

If you have Malwarebytes' Anti Malware PRO why do you have it in on demand and not real time?

RE: Stonecold Security Setup

The OP is using ESET and Sandboxie from the looks of things, and I wouldn't say MBAM (paid) is needed in realtime.

RE: Stonecold Security Setup

I don't use malwarebytes in real time as it use a bit of Ram which have little impact on system. With so many precautions already on system I think I did not really need mbam real time.
Mclovin: I already have image backup which I mentioned above.

RE: Stonecold Security Setup new

Stonecold Avira recently had a nasty update error. Now the new update switches off Avira ProActiv(Behavior guard). Avira is having a lot of trouble so I recommend moving away from it.

RE: Stonecold Security Setup new as on 19.05.2012

Malbky: I have not find any problem with new updates on avira but yes its buggy since last year so i dumped it.
Mclovin:I use windows backup and its look fine for me, Free and fast
Jack:Thanks I now updated the security setup. In past i used avast, avira and kasperskybut now happy with eset.
Once I tried to check crack of software with avast IS on my pc I got infected and had to reinstall OS,I think its 2-3 years ago.
I don't use cracks but I had tried that only for fun :p

Stonecold use something like Linkscanner from AVG or Traffic light. For sandbox use bufferzone.

I don't use link scanner as I already have browsing protection active from eset and i use sandboxie pro for sandbox.
I dont have good experience with bufferzone before.

Kaspersky is well known to be a resource hog.

MBAM pro should be put in Real-Time section, unless you use it only on-demand.

Any reason why you uninstalled Adobe Reader?
