Hello,
is there a way to remove the start menü list, so that there are only my apps that i have switched there?

After the new update on the left side from my apps there is a list with all my programs and i can scroll up and down. i dont want this, i only want to display my apps. hope u can understand it.

thanks in advance. :)

To remove a desktop app from the Windows 10 Start Menu's All Apps list, first head to Start > All Apps and find the app in question. Right-click on its icon and select More > Open File Location. Of note, you can only right-click on an application itself, and not a folder that the app might reside in
Thanks for ur answer but thats not what i want. i dont want the whole all apps start menü. Is there a way to remove it?

What about using a different software, to replace the default?
Its for my girlfriends laptop. He does not want to add a extra software for this. he want to make as much as possible with windows itself. bevore the update there was no start menü for scrolling on here laptop. seems the big update have changed it.

I think he (she?) want's to get rid of this

Can't say I blame her, I'm still looking for a way to hide it without extra software, if I find one I'll post but sadly I don't think there is the option... not sure why MSFT wouldn't give us that option, not everyone wants to see that list all the time, some of us prefer a clean start menu, but no, you take what dear MSFT gives you...

Sadly I'm not using any software - I'm on the old version of Windows before the update - I took the update off because of program incompatibilities and the start menu :( that picture there is the old build, but if I do find some way with the new version I'll let you know of it (I'm still trying to figure it out)

Thank you for ur help. :)

If anyone knows a software to do this, please let me know.

Well it seems the solution goes on using 3rd party program to replace the Start Menu.

Per default on Start Menu of Windows 10, that hide style (burger menu) is only for customization and not as permanent.
