Steam's last big sale of the year kicks off today. The news follows the massively popular Autumn and Summer sales that have previously seen discounts of over 13,457 games. At the time of writing, the sale is set to begin in five hours, that's 6PM GMT or 1PM EST depending on your time zone.
The sale launches along with Valve's invitation for gamers to vote for the Steam Awards. The week long event encourages visitors to support their favorite gaming titles under categories such as 'Villain Most in Need of a Hug' and the 'The “Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!” Award.
To top things off, Valve has changed the way it runs the sale. The company has stepped away from Daily and Flash sales, meaning if you purchase a discounted game, there's no need to fear of it dropping in price later in the week.
