I have a problem with the JBL Authentics 300 speaker and I suspect that it's the same with other speakers from the manufacturer. His online activity is suspicious.
The device sends the most requests of all my equipment at home, more than the computer or phone that I use daily.
I asked support about it, but unfortunately, they don't know what it is. They speculated that it might be checking for updates or something similar, but since there are so many connections, they suggested blocking it on the router.
A bit of statistics from the last month, the speaker works for about 3 to 4 hours a day, connections are established regardless of whether I use it or just have the power on.
There is no way to turn this off, and everything can be transmitted there, including recordings from the speaker's microphone.
