I am seeing white boxes appearing when I use google chrome; especially when I browse youtube. The boxes do not appear constantly.

Steps I have taken so far:
Removed some adware/malware with malwarebytes, did not resolve the issue.
I did not check the issue with other browsers.

Hello, Welcome to MalwareTips.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.
===

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The Computer will restart when the fix is completed.

It will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
===

Please post the Fixlog.txt and let me know what problem persists.

Hi. Thank you for your willingness to spare time for me.

I have followed your instructions. The stated problem still persists.

Additionally, I have an old abnormality that is not causing trouble, but not normal. Whenever I run Mu Torrent software, there is a folder clicking sound that goes on (1-3 clicks per second) as long as the software window is open, but the sound doesn't continue once it is minimised or closed. This abnormality is going on for almost 2 years, but since I haven't found any problem/virus activity, I do not bother about it much. The advertisement slot in the software refreshes with the folder-opening-clicking-sound.

Hi,

This may be a driver issue or something else.

Give me one or two links that I can look at and what will happen here.

I did not get that part. What links? Did you mean screenshots of sites other than youtube?

There is no particular video where these boxes are appearing. Besides youtube homepage, so far I have noticed this problem in the comments section of a youtube video once for 3 seconds, and on a google search page once for 3-4 seconds.

Here is the link that I use to visit youtube - YouTube

Hi,

Visiting the link the same thing happed to me.

When the image first appear I had 4 timages on the the first line.

It took about 2 or 3 sec. and it disappeared.

I have Malwarebytes, Norton 360 and AdBlock may be it was removed by one of them.

I'm not worry.

p.s.
Moving the page down all the other images are displayed.

Hi.

It is the (standard) URL of youtube, I do not understand how are you getting the same problem after I wrote down the link, but not before!

Anyway, thanks for your help and time.
