I would recommend that you turn off the notifications in Chrome. Here is how to do it:
On your Android phone, open the Chrome app.
If you don't see those spam ads then you're phone is fine.

- To the right of the address bar, tap More (the 3 vertical dots).
- Tap "Settings".
- Tap on "Notifications".
- Chrome's "App notifications" will open, turn off "Show notifications"
If you don't see those spam ads then you're phone is fine.
