Why not install application hardening also with FW + exploit protection?
Application hardening is a separate subscription not included with the unmanaged client It requires a cloud account or on promise atp
Basically paid and very expansive but it's really great against zero days if what Symantec says is correct

Thanks!

I experienced the ff. problems:

1. Exceptions are not saved. That is, they were saved when I entered them and rebooted the machine yesterday, but now they're gone. They're a combination of folders in internal drives, whole external drives, and some applications (Google Sync, Xtreme Download Manager, Snappy Drive Installer) in the boot drive. Some apps were included because the program sometimes stopped them from downloading or uploading.

2. The program would announce that it was blocking autorun.inf in SD cards or external drives even though the file doesn't exist.

[Again] - I just wanted to let you all know that they have released a new build version from the same link.

I have just updated it without uninstalling.. just updating on top of it and works without issue (notice: it will reset any exception you have made)

Hello! I ask (because I don't know): To avoid all those inconveniences, ¿wouldn't it be more appropriate to uninstall the previous version, to install the new one? Thank you.

What other program does anyone recommend to run supplementing any shortcomings with Symantec endpoint unmanaged?
if you want to use other software with it I recommend modify install to have only fire wall/ network components so it would allow other anti virus software to work in combination
you will have Symantec intelligence signatures and ips + your favorite av

1.Is it better than kaspersky total?
No, if you currently have a KIS total stay with it. But if you are looking for a free option this is pretty damn good.
2.does it update?
If you mean signature updates, Yes it does update daily but if you mean version updates then it does not auto update to the newer version, you will have to manually download the version and update it.
3. is it safe or it is in danger to be blacklisted?
yes it is safe and you are not in danger to be blacklisted.
