Look, quite solid. Only question I have is that why not upgrade to Windows 7?

My PC don't have the capacity of upgrading to Windows 7. It's kinda old. :(

Hi Syntax,

Beware with NPE Norton Power Eraser.

I noted in September, 2011:
'FP's only! After uninstall it left SMR210.sys driver, and changed Boot.ini date! So I did Windows restore (with Restore Point)' ..:(

PS. Look for anti-rootkits, why not, if you wish ..

Thanks for the tip! I will look after that. Maybe i will change NPE with another product.

For the anti-rootkit, i found Kaspersky TDSSKiller. I've updated my config.

I wouldn't worry about too much about replacing NPE, your real-time protection should be enough. Keep your software updated, then no need to worry about exploits and other infections.

I'm running the not recommended, no Antivirus security config.

Look at this for an example, less experienced users can run Avast, AVG or Avira without getting infected, and they don't even use any on-demand tools. :)

Pretty much solid configuration there, you made worth for visited the forum in 6 months and counting.

Norton Internet Security 2012 is a great suite however it lacks a virtualization feature, this is why I strongly recommend that you add Sandboxie or BufferZone to your configuration.
When opening an unknown file or surfing the web Sandboxie should be very helpful and give you a new level of security.

If you have any problems understanding how it works , please ask!
Sandboxie (Free/Paid) - link
Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

And to see how powerful Sandboxie really is , here is a screenshot that I've took while running a Trojan Ransomware in Sandboxie.Needless to say that my system is just fine.

Syntax I believe your computer is running superfast as I have same configuration on my laptop but i advice you to just add few things.
1... Make system image and you can use windows system image as you are on windows 7
2...Download Hitman pro and you can scan your machine without installing it as it will not consume any resources.
3....If possible install Malwarebytes and use it for on demand scan

Otherwise you have good setup.

Yes one thing Tiywall delay in rule creating you can use sphinx windows firewall control instead and run ccenhencer along with ccleaner.
I assure your machine will fast with this few changes

Solid config, however one thing to note: On a 32bit system, there is no need to run Revo Uninstaller Pro. The free version is fine as it is. If you were in 64bit however, that's another story.

Consider adding the following:
Emsisoft Emergency Kit for on-demand scanner

Paragon Backup and Recovery Free 2012 for a backup solution.

Thanks for the tips Stranger and Biozfear. I already download Comodo Time Machine for backup and Emsisoft Emergency Kit. Regarding Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes, I will download it if I think my PC is infected.
