Is System Process using this much resources something I should be concerned about?
Kaspersky's Process is also using alot of resources, so maybe something is updating? Im not sure.
Edit: Issue just fixed itself. However I noticed Kaspersky said ntoskrnl.exe (part of Sys32) was first seen 9 days ago, however is trusted by Kaspersky. Dont know if its malware, but I havent ran any random files within a span of months.

The System process is an essential part of the Windows operating system, responsible for managing various system functions and resources. It is normal for the System process to use some CPU and memory resources, especially during system startup or when performing intensive tasks.

However, if the System process is consistently using a significant amount of resources for an extended period of time, it may indicate an underlying issue that needs to be addressed. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:

1. Malware or virus: Malicious software can disguise itself as the System process to consume system resources. It is recommended to perform a thorough scan with a reputable antivirus program, such as Kaspersky, to ensure your system is not infected.

2. Driver or software conflict: Outdated or incompatible drivers or software can cause the System process to consume excessive resources. Make sure all your drivers and software are up to date. You can check for driver updates on the manufacturer's website or use a driver update utility.

3. Hardware issue: Faulty hardware components, such as a failing hard drive or overheating CPU, can cause the System process to use more resources than usual. Monitor your system's temperature using tools like HWMonitor and check for any signs of hardware failure.

Regarding Kaspersky's process using a lot of resources, it is possible that it is performing an update or a system scan. Antivirus software often requires significant resources during these operations. However, if the high resource usage persists even after the update or scan is complete, it may be worth investigating further.

In general, it is a good idea to monitor your system's resource usage regularly using the Task Manager or other system monitoring tools. If you notice consistent high resource usage that affects your system's performance, it is recommended to investigate further to identify and resolve any underlying issues.
