Hello again Fiery! If you are online, please drop me a note here. I have a couple of questions. 1. After running the scans the other day, microsoft security essentials found another virus but it was quarantined. I just let MSE repair what it needed to do and it seemed to be fine. I don't know if that was a new virus or remnants of an old one. I did run MSE & Malwarebytes again and nothing was found (have been running both programs almost none stop). Do you think I may be virus free? 2. Noticed 2 other problems possibly. 1st. I am UNABLE to get windows defender to open. I've even tried in safe mode but defender just does not open. It used to but not any longer. Do you know if MSE disables defender somehow or is defender part of MSE now? 2nd. I have been unable to find an answer on Malwarebytes site and forum and I don't want to set up another account there to ask this question and it seems like you guys here on this forum really do trust Malwarebytes. Anyway, I did buy the pro version of it awhile back so the "Protection" tab on mine is something that I can use. There is a large button there that is always green and it says "Protection Enabled". When I first had this system progressive protection virus, that same button was red and showed "Protection disabled". While we were trying to fix the problem, at times that button was orange and showed "Protection partially enabled". NOW the question I have is this: Today, after updating malwarebytes, I went into the Protection tab and it once again was orange and showed "Protection partially enabled" and after a few seconds it had changed back to green. Is this a normal way that Malwarebytes should act while it updates itself or do I really still have a virus problem? 3rd. Even though I have been running MSE and Malwarebytes continuously without finding any problems, is there a way that we can check once again somehow just to make sure my system is clean? Yes, I know your services are free, but I still want to show my appreciation somehow. I am in the process of right now of getting ready to go to the link that you gave me to make a donation. My paypal account is set up with my cwr.on.ebay@gmail id. Thanks! Charles
Oh! You mentioned a key scrambler! Do you have a certain that you like using? Does it also work in Seamonkey & the Opera browsers?
