It's been a while since I've updated my security configuration though there are minimal differences. Pretty much a basic configurations since I'm not much of an enthusiast in PC security. I browse MalwareTips mostly because I'm fascinated in the world of PC Security but not much of a fan of testing for malwares and stuff.

@TapaDonut:
Please note that MSI Burn Recovery will restore the system back to the initial status of original manufacturer’s default settings. However, the tool can’t back up any system setting or software which was made by users.
  • Consider to use for "Disk Imaging Backup", Macrium Reflect Free or AOEMI Backupper, both are free and reliably.
  • As for "Web Privacy", You may add uBlock Origin or AdGuard AdBlocker extension to Your browsers, also a VPN service.
  • A PassWord Manager would be welcome also.
Please kindly reflect Your changes editing Your config, and announcing them here, hanks for sharing :giggle:

My advice:
  • Add ZAM Free 3.0
  • Add Keepass for Password Manager (optional)
  • Replace CCleaner with Wise Disk Cleaner (optional)
  • Add uBlock Origin or Nano Adblocker to your browser(s)
  • Follow @Spawn advice for Chrome extension integration with Opera
  • Replace McAfee Site Advisor with Emsisoft Browser Security, this extension can also deal with Phishing sites, something McAfee has a weakness in detecting, getting a 2 for 1 extension without needing to use Netcraft as well.
I hope the above advice helps you and appreciate your time posting the security config! Thanks for sharing.
