I would suggest Emsisoft emergency kit scanner and Zemana as on-demand scanners.
You can also use Voodooshield along with defender, that would be pretty solid.
Other than that a nice config.

Replace adblock with ublock origin.
Add HTTPS Everywhere to browsers.

 

[JM Safe]

Add ZAM Free and MalwareBytes.

Replace Adblock with uBlock Origin.

Add HTTPS Everywhere.

Add Sandboxie Free (and use it while browsing to have more protection).

Add CCleaner Free.

I recommend you to:
- Add Malwarebytes free, AdwCleaner and Zemana anti-malware free as second opinion scanners (make a scan with them)
- Add VoodooShield free to strenghten your realtime protection (no conflicts with Windows Defender)
- Use ublock Origin instead of Adblock

Consider adding an on demand scanner(s). Real time protection is not an on demand scanner.
Consider backing up your data to an external drive as well.
Consider a free system imaging backup solution such as Macrium Reflect Free.
Add HTTPS Everywhere,Privacy Badger to Chrome.
Replace AdBlock with uBlock origin.
Consider adding CCleaner.
