Television and computers have become an integral part of our life. But, whatever we see does it really exist. The things that we see on TV or computer are actually just some play of electrons. A video may have been made long time ago but we can see it any time we want. It doesn't exist in any dimension, but still we are able to see and hear it. At this very point of time what ever you are reading (this thread actually) doesn't ever existed physically, but it does create a lot of activity in your mind. Some data gets stored in the hard disk (not physically but electronically) , then it gets processed and the monitor shows us the result. What ever we see on the monitor is just three lights (Red, Green and Blue) switching on and off. Isn't it an illusion. The animations that we see now a days never actually exist physically, but then also we can see them. This is also a kind of illusion.
What if in the future we start to send the electronic signals directly to our brains, i.e. the processor will process the data and convert it in such a form that it can be directly transmitted to our brain. Won't that be wonderful, no monitors or speakers required. We may have a small computer in our pocket which will be able to store a lot of data and also be able to communicate with other devices just like mobile phones, and whatever or whenever we will require any kind of information it will be directly delivered to our brain. What a wonderful thing that would be, isn't it?
But, it may not be so wonderful, in-fact it may be very bad for us.
As, the information will get directly fed into our brain, we may lose our ability to distinguish between reality and virtual reality. And, what if some one hacks the device, then he/she may be able to make us see and hear whatever he/she may like and you won't even know if its real or not. A nightmare isn't it.
But thats going the take a lot of time, until then watch your TV and play games on your computer happily.

What we see it is also an illusion, because we see only what our eyes can show us, we see limited things. And I think all around us it is an illusion because we don't really know what is what only we think it is because we see it that way.
