Yes, I forget to mention I have a special program that uses a lot of RAM and I need it everyday.
My laptop has only 8 GB of RAM and the APU uses 1 GB, so I had to do something because sometimes my program couldn't finish the task because of the low RAM issue.

Then it is a valid reason. Alternatively, you should look for a RAM upgrade. Would be more efficient than squeezing few hundreds from the other softs.

Indeed. My laptop came with 4GB of RAM and I bought another 4 GB. That was a bad decision I should have bought at least 8 GB.

Depends the motherboard maximum RAM capacity. Be sure to check it.
