Some suggestions:
- Remove some extensions (Just Read, OneTab, Track Me Not)
- Update Windows to 1809

Thanks for sharing.

I use Just read to fix the sites that are frequently broken by uMatrix.

OneTab I use to organize things. It keeps everything within easy reach in a list and cleans up clutter.

Track Me Not... because I like the concept of obfuscation. :giggle:

That build number is for 1809.

Really? My fault.
I just recommend that you remove extensions because they create not only a bigger attack surface, but also slow down the browser. I'd say keep your favorite from those three, and just stick with that and uBlock Origin/uMatrix (uMatrix is a little strict for my taste though).

Yeah, uMatrix is very strict, but the page breakage is not so much of an issue since I spend most of my time reading articles. Unbreaking pages can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, hence just read. One click and all is well.

Switched to Kaspersky Cloud Free. As much as I dislike installing new security soft, WD was making things sluggish. My laptop is zippier and the fan doesn't complain as much as before, funny enough.
