Surprised Adblock still has such a large userbase. Webex also surprising, I thought MS Teams/Zoom crushed it? McAfee for Edge huh?
McAfee is really good in blocking dodgy content and has a sheer user base (for reasons that require deep dive into user psychology to be explained). McAfee does not install extension automatically (posing as your ultimate “system administrator”), it gently nudges the users to download the extension. This is what causes the high number of installs. The extension also more aggressively blocks malware. It is not devoid of value.
