I had used mcafee_stinger in the past, just ran a scan with this stinger64, clean & took +3m10

I did not pay close attention to the AG popup block as that happens when the .exe is in the wrong place / space. stinger said it only scanned 764 files and took +3m10... Where EEK scans 77,000 in less time.

I think there is something in your security setup prevents it from running, maybe you need to exclude it.

From Stinger website:

By default, Stinger scans for running processes, loaded modules, registry, WMI and directory locations known to be used by malware on a machine to keep scan times minimal. If necessary, click the "Customize my scan" link to add additional drives/directories to your scan.
