According to my video, Trend Micro did not remove most of the infections, but for a free
product, it removed the ransomware. A average user would be really happy that the ransomware is removed. So I would recommend it, but it is nice to have malwarebytes and hitmanpro installed in your PC to clean the other nasty infections if you have any. If you don't feel like purchasing hitmanpro, then use other programs like Comodo Cleaning Essentials, Emsisoft Emergency kit, etc.
