this is how TM pops up here. only app doing this... if it displays a second window on top of another TM window text is nearly invisible.
The Trend Micro UX is created using the Skitter framework which is highly GPU optimised. Your VM is not using the correct graphic drivers and this is what renders TM interface weird.

Thanks for the review! I've been out of commission for a few months but just about recovered :) I found I had some time left on a Trend licence & given it another try, one thing that's most impressive is the low impact on this quite fast PC & all fans are running quite slow - Again thanks Shadowra for another great test - Will get a new licence for Trend shortly.

Totally convinced of Trend Micro now.

Finally an AV not from Gen Digital, Not Kaspersky, Not Eset.

This Trend is so light weight and no nagging buy this and that pop ups, buy this, use this mode for that.

How did you manage that? I know there are 3 year keys going around but assumed they are OEM so cannot be stacked, did you ask support to combine two sets of keys, or can you simply apply a second one in the account menu to double the time?

Yeah, I got several keys combined as well, by contacting support.

Trend micro is great AV. Though there is no easy way to submit samples to them. I have few samples that are detected by other AVs and not by trend micro. There is no straight forward way to submit an undetected sample on trend micro maximum security product, or I may not know if there is one :)

Might be what you’re looking for. They’re documentation is less than helpful.

Did you run the samples in a safe environment to see if TM blocks them ? So far i did not encounter any sample not being recognised by TM, even faster detection than AVAST/AVG and Kaspersky sometimes

fwiw TM support sent me 2 friendly and potentially helpful emails about my issue with faint display in VMware win10_VM, went thru a 10 step "solution" to delete "corrupted" files (their word) but did not fix the issue, so giving up on TM for now, could be graphics card, or VMware driver incompatibility, or who knows. Liked TM except for this -- problem seems unique to me more or less...

It does seem unique to you, someone suggested you uninstalls TM and clear your browser, then reinstall TM, do you try that?
