Other than the RunDLL error (see above) upon bootup, it seems pretty dang great!

Do you have a way to get rid of the error? Could it be a service trying to start or something in the Startup environment?

Thanks!

Download attached fixlist.txt on the same location as FRST (otherwise the fix won't work)
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to the operating system

Open FRST, and click Fix. Attach me that report after it is finished.

Tell me how is computer after this?

Yes, your PC looks clean now :)

I must ask you why don't you have Antivirus installed. This is something you have to do immediately.

The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:

=> Please download DelFix by Xplode to your Desktop.

Run the tool and check the following boxes below;
checkmark.png
Remove disinfection tools
checkmark.png
Create registry backup
checkmark.png
Purge System Restore

Click Run button and wait a few seconds for the programme completes his work.
At this point all the tools we used here should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)

The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.

I do - I use ESET, which is great. It wasn't running at the time...I had disabled it last night to do some (network rendering) diagnostics and forgot to re-enable it before turning in. The virus came aboard the next morning during an "automatic software upgrade" that popped up after reboot and instead of dismissing it, I activated it by complete mistake! A huge pre-coffee-dreary-eyed-dyslexic-fat-fingering at the worst possible time. Amazing coincidence, really.

I can tell you, I won't make that mistake again...At least I hope I don't!!

You sure ESET is running, because I do not see its signs in reports?

Btw, thanks for great donation, you're very welcome :)
