Troubleshoot Troubles with my Android

Hi,
I have Android v7 installed on my mobile phone.
When typing a sms, from time to time, I can see that display others characters and emoticons I didn't type. Then, the mobile automatically was trying to make a photo several times and even call from contact list. It's like someone took the control of my mobile phone.
Wifi is off and mobile data is off by default. Moreover, I've never connected this mobile phone to Internet.

Do you have an idea ? Do I need to install an AV apps ? I would appreciate any valuable recommendations, thank you

Have you installed any apps recently?

If you open up the Play Store, and go to Play Protect in the side menu, does it give you any notifications of any malicious apps?

Where was this phone purchased and how long ago? If you bought it from a person, they could have modified the operating system in some way
