How often the lists are auto-updated?
Is the upgrade auto too?

I am running uBlock & not uBlock Origin.

How often uBlock Origin lists are updated?

All lists update itselfs not to worry about it. Some filters update frequencies are 3-4 days.
For example Easylist 4 days.. See the screenshot. This is the header of filters.
All filters have this kind of informations, you can check this on your uBlock.

You really should be using ublock origin as this is actively developed by raymond hill the original developer.
