[QUOTE="Marko :), post: 1104981, member: 39702"] I use it so let me answer some of the questions you all might have. [HR][/HR] [HEADING=2][B]Why do I use it?[/B][/HEADING] Well, it's free. Since I don't really need a VPN, I have no interest in paying one. I use it only for unblocking geoblocked websites, nothing else. [HEADING=2]Is it malicious?[/HEADING] I can't talk about their client because I only use their extension and it's more than enough for me. But the extension itself I find safe enough. [HEADING=2]Does it really work?[/HEADING] Yes and no. While connecting to popular locations like the US, UK, France, Germany work very well, some less popular either don't work all the time or just connects you to the IP address belonging to some other country (like... you connect to China, but it gives you Indian IP). To get the right IP address, you have to connect/disconnect/connect again and again until you eventually get it. Every time you connect visit a website like [URL='https://whatismyipaddress.com/']WhatIsMyIPAddress.com[/URL] to see if you got correct IP address. [HEADING=2]What's the speed like?[/HEADING] Not sure. I haven't really tested the speed that much. But regarding speed of opening websites, it's fast enough. I'd say the speed depends how far away is the location you're connecting to. [HEADING=2]Does it have any limits?[/HEADING] I haven't found one. But again, I use it only for unblocking geoblocked websites. As soon as I'm done with the website, Urban VPN is off. [HEADING=2]What about privacy?[/HEADING] It's far from 100% anonymous VPN as they claim because they collect pretty much everything they can. I'm person who cares about privacy and will turn off everything I can regarding data collection, no matter which software or extension I use. This is also the reason why I have Urban VPN disabled at all times in my browser and I only enable it if I need to use it. [HEADING=2]Any recommendations?[/HEADING] Yes. Want to access geoblocked website, but your free VPN doesn't have servers in that particular country? Fear not! Just do what I do—connect to your trustworthy VPN (Proton VPN, Windscribe...) and then connect to Urban VPN through their browser extension. Urban VPN will still collect pretty much everything, but because you're using a VPN they'll have no idea that it was you as they only get your VPN IP address.
