The “Augury” platform includes highly sensitive network data that Team Cymru, a private company, is selling to the military. “It’s everything. There’s nothing else to capture except the smell of electricity,” one cybersecurity expert said.
Multiple branches of the U.S. military have bought access to a powerful internet monitoring tool that claims to cover over 90 percent of the world’s internet traffic, and which in some cases provides access to people’s email data, browsing history, and other information such as their sensitive internet cookies, according to contracting data and other documents reviewed by Motherboard.

I've been listening to the audiobook version of 'The Snowden Files' - Luke Harding. Between what he revealed then and what this 'Team Cymru' (are they dissing Wales?) tool does and as said here
Between them and Palantir personal privacy is an illusion.
Things were bleak before Snowden underlined how it was worse than what many believed back then, its got bleaker on the privacy front since then.
Palantir's homepage states "We build software that empowers organizations to effectively integrate their data, decisions, and operations." Burble, burble. That reminds me of how G**gle had "Don't be evil" as a motto. 'The Circle' and its ilk continue to encircle us.
