Hello!

This thing actually first appeared on my laptop a few months ago, and then on my iTouch. At that time, I did some research, ran some antivirus programs, and reset the router about 10 times over the course of a week. All that did was delay the reappearance of the virus, and now it's just shown up on my new PC.

When I ran Malwarebytes and HitmanPro, neither of them picked up on the virus.

I've attached the scan logs of FRST and AdwCleaner

Thank you in advance for any help provided :)

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

Tell me is it fixed now?

When I opened Youtube it was there, but then I refreshed and it was gone. All the other sites that were affected are working now :)

You're a miracle worker.

EDIT; I can't seem to log into my Google account, but I'm not sure whether that's because of this or something else.

Sorry about the double post, but I decided it would be more prudent to post this as another message.

It's preventing me from accessing google.com and Youtube again, as well as the messenger app on facebook.

As far as I can tell, it's gone. If it shows up again, I'll just come back and beg for more help :p

Thank you so much!
