It's funny though how the OP doesn't know how to use Google, oh wait, that's not even necessary.

Web Browser's for Windows
Firefox,Internet Explorer 9 or Chrome almost behave similarly so chose the one you like best.
Firefox and Chrome have a lot of plugins while Internet Explorer has a very good protection againts malicous downloads.

Well actually three browsers Chrome, Firefox and the latest IE9 have different signature preferences.

IE9 known for their highly reputed SmartScreen filter which based on some testing organization rated likely 90%.

Chrome known for speed and security which made the browser strong implemented. Top notch in most recent test.

Firefox as known for majority addons used by users. Customization and security.

For me i don't see a big difference of speed between firefox 9 and chrome 16 but i would recommend both browsers.I also feel that firefox 9 seems lighter than chrome.(just my opinion)

The most secure browser - is sandboxed, without plugins, and with 'no downloads' setting.

I would pick a few browsers of choice, install all at same time, jump back and forth between them, and decide from there, as it really depends on your habits and uses as well as your system set up..
