This is the reason why I decided to change my current desk! Do you know the phrase "it's a pain in the butt"? Well, that desk is a pain in the legs

I thought about the 180cm model, but I finally opted for the 160cm because of space. The available space from the wall to the door was 209cm, 180cm would've been very big. It turned out good, because both monitors fit alright in the new desk

For a desk in my study room (Windows 7 PC), I made it from a common door that I varnished and used two file cabinets at the ends to hold it up (I already had those). I used the door handle hole for threading cords down through the back. This is a bigger room, and the desk is holding a printer and some volumes of books on it as well. I do also have a piece of finger jointed wood that is about 2' x 4' long about 1 - 1.5" thick, but the door works great for now. It's not very elegant, but it's functional

Also, I bought one of those mount underneath drawers for the keyboard and mouse, giving me more desktop real estate, and a more ergonomic position of my hands and elbows, like the image below; Fellowes Office Suites Underdesk Keyboard Drawer.
