I have been using MR since 2012 and this is how I have set up disk backups on my main home PC a) Full Image of my boot drive weekly b) Incremental backups 4 times a day starting 10:30 am through 10:30 pm, an average of every 3 hours.c c) Retention is set to 14 days for the full backup and its set of incremental images. I do this to save disk space on the local drive For more frequent and data only backups I use Bvckup (yeah, that's how it's spelt) that synchronizes my most-used folders to an external USB3 drive and a NAS. Bvckup can be set to backup in real-time i.e. on detecting changes. It can also use VSS to backup locked files or files that are in use.
