Today's high will be 105-106 F (40.6 C - 41.1 C) Not a good afternoon to do gardening.

I could never live in a place that is that hot Simmer, a beautiful 20C here today.

luckily, everywhere** here is well air-conditioned, including my house. 78 F / 25.5 C in the house is cool enough. I moved from Chicago to South Texas for work, I could feel my blood thin over the first 3 to 6 months. it is rarely below 32 F / 0 C in Winter, in fact it is rarely below 50 F

cooled down to 104 F / 40.0 C today which was 45th day in a row of 100+ now 2d place longest streak. 4 more days and we tie all time record, 5 more and it's longest streak on record. And it's not exactly a dry heat, but not has humid as New Orleans. I recall driving to California and approaching El Paso my lips cracked open from THE DRY.

still counting the 100+ F streak (37.5 C). Today's forecast was iffy, but we made it to 102 F (39.0 C) at my house and at local airport (full NWS ASOS sensors) making today +56 day in a row. Rain is a high probability tonight and tomorrow which will end the streak, now the longest on record for this location aka South Texas USA.

the hot continues unbroken for day 58 in a row of 100+ F -- yesterday it squeaked up to 100 F ( 37.8 C) despite rain and cloudiness and today it was at least 102. prelim forecast is for 100+ tomorrow
