What is your favorite PDF Reader? (March 2016)

What is your favorite free PDF Reader and the one that you consider best?

Very rare to open PDF files.
But when I open PDF file, I use Chrome. But since I use windows 10, I open PDF file with Edge.

PDF-Xchange here. I used Foxit in the past, but now I like more PDF-Xchange Viewer. On my computer, it works faster, is better translated, It is not as complete as Foxit, but it has more options than I need ... Very good for me.

I have only used Adobe Reader. I feel that it is very convenient, since it provides quite many utilities for commenting a PDF file, such as Sticky Comment, Highlight, Midline, Bottom Line, Text Comment, etc...

I wonder whether any other PDF reader could do this or not?

In regards to topic at question: I have used Foxit Reader for a long time due to its available addons, but since then moved to windows 10 default reader. I hardly touch PDFs now as opposed to before, therefore no longer need additional bells and whistles that some of the solutions bring in.

SumatraPDF here. It's blazing fast, it's ~5mb of size, and it does what I need for a PDF Reader ...opens and prints PDFs For editing PDFs I'm using AbleWord

Sumatra pdf for me. Lightest one there is (compare with adobe omg). Very fast and has enough features to be default pdf reader. It is also portable and open source. If you need more options foxit is a good alternative.

Other for me. Currently I am using Nuance Power PDF . It is much cheaper than adobe acrobat but I think It has the same features.

I voted other because rarely i open pdf files and when i want to do that i use built-in pdf reader of Cent browser.
And always i open pdf files from known sites.
As for another pdf reader i have to recommend Sumatra PDF.
As other members have stated already it's fast, small in size and does what a pdf reader supposed to do read pdf files and print them.
On the other hand if i want to do some editing in a pdf file i use Adobe reader in my wife's pc

I voted foxit reader. I have it installed on my pc. I like its various editing options & love the reading mode.
I work with pdf files so it is best for me.

Plus i use browser too, for only viewing & printing, which is much safer & faster for me.

I use Foxit PhantomPDF Business, awesome & allows editing PDFs as well which is good for me since I am still in university

Foxit Reader still my choice despite of built in PDF component on Windows 10 and Chrome since its reliable, not bloated, organizable tools to create and add notes to the files. Satisfied after a huge change from Adobe Reader 6 years ago.

I really like Sumatra (best for pure reading purposes), but I use Foxit Reader now because I need to be able to highlight and such.

Sumatra PDF. Fast, free, looks modern but not heavy. If Nitro Pro was free, I'd say it's better for it's editing abilities which I do need.

I have used Adobe for years but I don't like the direction it goes so for now I am testing Foxit Reader portable and I think that I will uninstall Adobe Reader and let Foxit take over his place

I was using the default Windows 10 PDF reader but it seemed very slow to open so now i am using Foxit PDF reader because it opens so much faster.

As I am not to create PDF files, but use a lot to read ... Use the application that comes with Windows 8.1, it is very simple, but it's enough for me!
Before I used Foxit Reader.
Today only use the 8.1 standard windows application and sometimes open in Chrome or Firefox

Built-in browser PDF readers have been sufficient. I have never had a need for any of the "advanced" PDF features. However, I have used NitroPDF Reader; it is OK.

I think most of them offer at least some of these features. Some more, some less.
