We have to hope that Chrome isn't sold, otherwise it could spell the end for Firefox, which cannot happen, and it could also harm Vivaldi and other Chromium-based browsers. Google may have its flaws, but it also has its merits. If Chrome were sold to God knows who, it could turn out badly, so it's better to leave it as it is. An example of this is Project Zero. (y)
I will buy it

During install, you get three options: install for current user, install for all users, and install as standalone.
Okay, I understand. Thanks for the tip. So, you install it directly on the HDD and keep the profile there, right? Just create a shortcut on the desktop on the SSD?
I choose the last one after creating a folder on HDD, where it get installed including even cache folder, sparing SSD extra writes by cache and saving space (cache can reach approximately 1 GB daily).
I think I understand what a portable application is. I knew that, but I didn't know that the cache reaches 1 GB LOL. How could I be so stupid not to have thought of that before? But doesn't it slow down the HDD? (y)You guys are smarter than me.

It seems to me that it also installs in the user's space, doesn't it? Without requiring administrative privileges to install for all users, does this confirm that it still works?

Vivaldi supports the current user, all users, and standalone (or portable) installations. Using offline installers, you could install Chrome or another browser just for the current user; Decline the prompt for administrator privileges.

Firefox, but the day IDM starting experiencing issues related to download panel not appearing or not downloading videos/ audios in the desired quality, I searched and found -Cốc Cốc browser. It's developed by Vietnamese company based on Chromium open source code. Since then, it has become my go to for browsing YouTube.

I use LibreWolf for personal stuff on my Personal/Study virtual desktop. Firefox I use for work on my Work virtual desktop.

I started to use Vivaldi last week in the hopes of switching to it but the lack of container (like Firefox has) for separating out browsing means I can't fully switch. I like the various features and how fast it loads though. Still experimenting so I may end up using it for study purposes.

Been using Firefox pretty much since it's inception, started as my secondary browser to IE and quickly became my primary browser.
I have tried all the rest with Chrome being the worst IMO, If I didn't have to use it at work I wouldn't use it at all.
A few years ago I removed Edge completely from my home pc , I have and use no secondary browser , Firefox is it , it just works without issue.
