A Short Look at “Ginger Snaps (2000)”:

My Thoughts

My brother GC told me about this movie before in the past. I saw a YouTube review of it years ago.

However, I had never seen it myself until now.

This movie was pretty straightforward and better than I had expected, and it held up better than I had expected.

I like how this movie focused on the relationship between siblings, in this case sisters.

Even though it was female-led, it was still relatable. It was also accessible for a diverse audience.

I think that this could probably be considered a classic in the werewolf genre.

It had a unique approach to the genre, with some symbolism.

I've watched The Adjustment Bureau at least twice, very good on many levels.
Nice, I saw it once in a movie theater back when it came out.

It was a Cinemark cinema at a shopping mall.

Unfortunately, I do not remember that much about the movie.

I do remember some parts and that some interesting concepts were explored that make you think.

I watched it several years ago and if my memory is right.... I liked it.

I just returned from The Mandalorian & Grogu in 3D. The reviews & comments that say if you watched the series on Disney+ and liked it, you'll like the movie. yes. I actually liked the series about 1 point better than the film.

This looks absolutely horrible. What Disney have done to Star Wars is a disgrace. It's turned it into a WOKE joke pumping left biased views, morals and ethics at every turn.

The last 3 trilogy movies were a joke, not because Ray was a female hero but because they were horrible movies, terribly written, terrible acting and terrible directed.

As The CriticalDrinker said they acted like planks of wood, and he was right with C3P0 no they are not your friends but awfully written and acted planks of wood.

The only Star Wars that has worked has been when they use OG trilogy characters, Rouge One, Andor, some of The Mandorlorian Series. The rest is woke garbage.

Thank you for sharing that @Digmor Crusher.

I am glad that you also saw it and liked it. :)

My brother GC introduced me to this movie.

He is a werewolf fan.

So we have watched various werewolf movies together.

I ended up watching all the Ginger Snap movies back to back.

Werewolves Within Review (2021):

My Thoughts

When I saw the trailer for this movie.

It looked like it had the potential to be goofy, fun, and better than you would expect.

And I assumed that it was a werewolf movie.

So my brother GC and I decided to watch it a week ago.

It was good to see Milana Vayntrub in a movie, and I hope to see her in more movies and TV shows.

Unfortunately, this movie was not as good as I had hoped, and it did not reach its full potential.

It was not bad.

But it was goofier than I had expected.

And it did not have as much seriousness as I had expected.

It was also dumber than it should have been, which hurt the logic of the movie.

They should have had more horror and thriller elements.

Fortunately, this movie was partly the type of movie that I had expected.

Though they took way too long to reveal that at the end.

I would probably rate this movie a 3 out of 5.

agree in the sense that Rouge One movie, Andor, Mandalorian series were better than the current Mandalorian film (but it was not horrilble). I went to see this film not because I'm a Star Wars die-hard, but I did enjoy Mandalorian series on Disney+ and was looking for the season 4, and the film is not that.

Sadly Disney has destroyed Star Wars including current and past IP. They have injected WOKE liberal ideas and Marvel humor/themes into franchise that was never about appealing to the 1% or resulting in stupid plots (killing the main villain a quarter of the way through the second movie in a trilogy) and toilet humor. It's a space drama, coming of age story and good vs evil. The recipe is simple but they have made it into a joke. WoPo is 💯 right they got scared of their fans and it's just getting worse.

The only way Star Wars works if it includes themes, characters and plots from the OG. Lucas was a visionary and needs to be bought back to run Lucasfilm at what ever cost.

No one cares if the main hero is male or female, gay or straight or alien, droid or humanoid. We care about relatable human beings and characters that make mistakes and grow.

... but Andor's girlfriend (Adria Arjona) is sooooo hot, and I think he knows her in biblical sense

SPIDER-NOIR.webp

Watching episode 4 of Spider-Noir’s first season… the nostalgic 1930s setting really comes through. The detective vibe in a gritty, economically struggling New York feels authentic, and Nicolas Cage nails the noir atmosphere. It’s not the usual flashy superhero show, but that’s exactly what makes it stand out.🎬🕸🕵️‍♂️
